In flight en route to Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula on Nature Air's tiny little puddle jumper that can only hold half of us. It's a little nerve racking-especially when the plane unexpectedly drops a few hundred feet-but the views are amazing! We're over the coast right now.
This morning, three of the girls got their times mixed up and thought it was 5.05 instead of 4.05. Another student group had just left the hotel, so when they asked the staff guy in the lobby if we had left them, he said yes, therefore they took a shuttle and realized it was going to the international airport when they really needed to go to the small airport. When they got there it wasn't even open, so they asked to use a cell phone to call George, looked at the screen and the screen said 4.45 am-we weren't meeting until 5! Overall, it must have been scary, but I was impressed because none of us know how to speak Spanish! And they would have still made the flight!
