After lunch we hung out for a while and then my half of the class went on our reserve walk. Veronica and I were hoping it would jungle pour while we were deep in the forest, and it did rain, but not an actual downpour, just a regular rain...
I actually showered today, for the fourth time in 7 days on the trip. I've showered just about the same as most except for George who showered once and Kevin, who also showered once. On top of actually showering today, I changed my clothes for the first time since Sunday afternoon (however I did change my underwear a few times in there, just not the shorts and tank top)
We've had a few cows wander on down the road and its cooler here and a bit less humid. Probabl about 75 in the rain and about 82 in the sun. A pretty decent improvement from the first site.
Played some Kemps with George, Danielle and Veronica. George and Veronica had obnoxiously crazy signs but Danielle and I were holding our own pretty well.
Dinner was at quarter to 7. Rice beet salad, beans and some crazy juice of some sort. It pretty much sucks and I'm kind of hungry, but it's probably good because I ate so much at MOrgans and now I'm back to what I would normally eat at home.
We had presentations and then the guys wanted to see what the 8 of us on our side were living in. They laughed at how all 8 of us were crammed in, bt I laughed at them for having to walk all the way back to their house in the pouring rain and having cold water showers because only my house had the hot water.
We're pretending Dr. Robbins is God-she shares a ceiling with us.
