It's the new year! Long day! Went out to the mangroves, saw a caiman. It was very hot. Probably around 95 with 100 percent humidity. Constantly. Our sheets are wet just from being there.
Chocolate plantation today was very cool-very hot as well-but we had a feast with wonderful fruit and chocolate!
Made homemade ice cream and stayed up until the new year when we went down to the beach to watch fireworks on the gulf. It was even the blue moon!
Saw an anteater on the way back, then dinner (tamales, bbq chicken, fried veggie rice and steak shishkabobs!)
